When you look at the top of the screen on our website, or open to the first page of the bulletin, you will find the All Saints Catholic Parish Mission. It is this, “the sacred purpose of All Saints Catholic Parish is to be a Christ-centered people whose active faith and love of the Eucharist inspire all in Cass County to be united to Jesus in the Catholic Church.” This mission is not something that we take lightly. It is to be respected and upheld. The Pastor, despite his best efforts, cannot do this by himself, which is why we assemble a Stewardship Committee.
The Stewardship Committee is a group of members who take seriously the responsibilities of stewardship, and hold tight to four core values: Identity, Trust, Gratitude, and Love. The Stewardship Committee may be most known for their Stewardship Drive in which they handed out the Time & Talent forms to gauge parishioners’ interests in the different ministries. However, they do countless things around our Parish to help keep things up and running. They have worked on solidifying a viable Haiti Ministry, established a Hispanic Stewardship Committee, and supply the books you see on our Welcome Table. They are continually in contact with one another making sure that things run as smoothly as possible, and that they are offering their best for our Parish. During bigger projects, they all gather for monthly meetings on the second Thursday of the month for about an hour to discuss things in greater detail.
Because the Committee does so much for our Parish, they have to have a strong team of people with different gifts to help fulfill their mission. That being said, there is always room for new volunteers that offer to bring new gifts to the table.
